How to Use the Archive

The Family & Local Histories Project images old books and manuscripts, and digitizes the text using OCR technology.

These books and manuscripts become fully searchable by name or keyword

The entire archive of text and images is placed online where users can search, browse, and print pages.

More than 20,000 family history books and local history books are in the archive.
